This dude has been making lots of noise in LA and across the country! Now Diz Gibran has dropped some new heat for the end of summer produced by Moonshine. No wonder it’s been getting hotter here in LA. Keep it coming Diz!

Finally! Probably the hottest mixtape this summer has finally released. My bro Skeme has given the people Skeme of Things 2. Featuring a full 20 tracks, the mixtape is more reminiscent of an actual album with it’s carefully picked beats and strong, impressive lyrics throughout. Only a handful of rappers and singers were chosen for this project. Some features include Streetz, TK (Terry Kennedy), Cire, Ty SL, Chantel, H.O.P.E., Diz Gibran, and the recently slain rapper Dolla. Skeme takes his musical talent to an entirely new level with this project. Songs like “Music We Fly To”, “Out of Towners”, and “She Wanna Dance” will have you jumping out your seat… even while you’re driving! But Skeme really raises the bar with songs like “Cheers”, “Couldn’t Be Mad”, and “In Search Of” taking you into the real life of a man growing up in the city of Inglewood, California. Along with his “Commercial Break 1-4″ in which he goes into lyrical tantrums and destroys each beat, Skeme has crafted an amazing collection of songs about women, life, family, entertainment, and Cali culture that will definitely garner much attention his way. And let us not forget one time….. this kid is only 19 years old. You’re lost if you are not on to the Skeme of Things 2. Check after the jump for the back cover artwork and tracklisting.
Skeme’s Statement:
First off I want to thank God for making all things possible for me and my team. I want to thank my mother Mrs. Georgia Kimble for putting up with me and helping me chase down my dreams, also everybody involved in the making of this project my brothers Cire, Nye, Lite, Youssef, Beau, HOPE, and Julien. Much love goes out to Meka for the love shown for my music and the project as a whole. Thanks to my man Diz for showing love to the tape. I also want to thank my brothers EJ and Kevin for riding with me on this long road. I also want to thank Kiana, Ashley, and Aricka for all the patience and support of me as an artist and I love you for that. Much love to my big brother Terry Kennedy and the whole Fly Society squad, also to my Grindtime family for holding me down Tommy I see you bro. Thank you to anybody downloading or buying this mixtape because I know that without you none of this would be possible. This album is in loving memory of those lost in the struggle R.I.P. to K. Bone, Roach, Infan Smoke, Diron Rivers, and Roderick Anthony “Dolla” Burton II. Your are gone but never forgotten…. And before I go… INGLEWOOD UP!

So here is the anticipated project from LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified Sound District) featuring L.A.’s Hip Hop scene. Most of your favorite rappers are featured, but there are a few missing. Either way this album is audio treat. LAUSD is Polyester the Saint & Lazy Lou on the Beat aka L4. As an ode to the 90′s era when the west coast was at it’s most prominent stage and was as focused on fashion as it is now, Curly Tops & Nautica Jackets were just some of the features of the in crowd. And this album features many of LA’s in-crowd. Acts like UNI, Pac Div, J*Davey, Blu, Chris Focus, Diz Gibran, El Prez, Dom Kennedy, Convinced, Tunji and many many more showed up to grace the project. Featuring all original production by LAUSD* this is more than a mixtape but a soundtrack to LA’s movement.
Check out the tracklisting and back cover artwork after the jump!
