POSSIBLY the first single for Detox. Probably not since I’ve been waiting for Detox since I was in high school.
Either way you can’t be from Cali and not be excited for a new Dre and Snoop collaboration. Where’s Nate Dogg though? I hope his health permits him to be a part of Detox if it ever comes out.

Snoop x Dre x Game = Detox???

I’ve been waiting to see something like this for years. The West Coast is in full effect in this image right here. Courtesy of Game via twitter last night. Years ago at the height of the whole Game/50 beef it seemed as if this would never happen. Personally, I would be disappointed if Game were absent from Detox. Say what you want about his personality, but the man makes good music, and even better music with Dre behind the boards. As for Snoop and Dre together, nothing even needs to be said about that collaboration. Anytime they collab, hip hop history is made. There’s still no date for Detox, but at least now there’s hope.

Dr. Dre x Dr. Pepper (Commercial)

I haven’t caught this on TV yet, but this is apparently what Dr Dre is spending his time doing when he should be bringing us the fabled Detox.
However, since Dre spends so much time in the shadows, I’m going to be optimistic and say that the fact that he’s been noticably more visibly in recent months is a sign that he’s finally ready to jump back in the limelight with the long awaited album.
It may just be a few seconds of music, but Dr. Dre fans will remember the new Dr. Pepper ad as the spot where they heard the first officially released beats from the much-delayed “Detox.”
The L.A.-based hip-hop producer appears in the last installment of an ad campaign entitled “Trust Me, I’m A Doctor,” and teases music from the long-awaited album, currently slated for a late 2009 release on Aftermath/Interscope. The commercial will begin airing on Monday, June 1.

I hope the leakage of all these ghostwritten songs doesn’t affect the project coming out… Who am I kidding it’s not coming out… Maybe if we all collectively say that it’s never coming out, he’ll throw us a curve and actually drop it (I can dream, can’t I?)

Dr. Dre/TI & Nas – Topless (Radio Rip)

So I get back from playing ball and in the 2 hours that I put my phone down, a new “Dr. Dre” track leaked and was abruptly removed from the internet. It’s actually spitting Dre’s verse, so I’m guessing he’s the latest Dre ghostwriter.. I’m hearing the labels are on this one tough so enjoy it while you can.
It was premiered by DJ Envy on Hot 97 earlier.
No word if this if from Detox or not. We can assume that it won’t be now since it’s leaked.

If you are anything like me, then you probably looked at the title and dismissed it as some kind of random blend, but DJ Skee confirmed via Twitter that this is indeed a brand new Dre verse and an official track. I’m afraid to ask but does this mean that Detox might possibly be on the way?
