Posted by Just10 on January 13, 2010

Wow. Nike SB has given Paul Rodriguez a massive line up of clothing and accessories for his newest collection. From t-shirts to polo shirts, from windbreakers to full zip hoodies, Nike is providing the full range of clothing to cover a skater  from head to toe. P-Rod even has a pair of Chino pants in three colorways that offer stretch and support for a skateboarder. Major props to P-Rod and Nike for this entire collection geared to an entire growing and evolving subculture.

M.I.A. – There’s Space For Ol Dat I See (Video)

Posted by Just10 on January 13, 2010

M.I.A. is no longer missing in action. She has returned by delivering a new music video via Twitter as talks about her next album have been kept to a minimum. The video quality is not the best but I enjoy the light effects going on in it. Expect to hear a lot from M.I.A. in 2010!

Dom Kennedy- Hard Work Remix Feat. Rich Boy, Slim Thug & Don Cannon

Posted by Just10 on January 13, 2010

Leimert Park’s very own, Dom Kennedy has been making a lot of major moves since releasing his last album, FutureStreet/DrugSounds. One of those major moves is remixing his Chuck Inglish (The Cool Kids) produced track, “Hard Work” and adding Don Cannon, Slim Thug, and Rich Boy. I’m not sure if it is a done deal yet but I remember watching a video clip of Don Cannon saying he was going to sign Dom Kennedy. So I guess hard work does pay off! Check the track out.

Releasing Saturday – Masterpiece x Undefeated Dickies and Mountain Parka!

Posted by Just10 on January 13, 2010

If you don’t know that Undefeated and Japanese brand Masterpiece have a strong relationship making great products then you are seriously slipping on your fashion knowledge. The two entities have paired up again to collaborate on two pairs of classic Dickies work pants and a 60/40 parka jacket. The Dickies seem to have the traditional classic work pants aesthetic along with the logos stitched right under the left pocket and neon zippers near both pockets to add a little flair. The jacket, which comes in two styles, has a two-tone design and features embroidery and stitching from both companies. It also appear that the jacket might be reversible. These are definitely two great pieces of classic everyday clothing and worth buying. But expect to pay a hefty penny. Masterpiece x Undefeated clothing usually sells for more than the usual piece of streetwear. Both the jackets and the pants will release Saturday, January 16th at all Undefeated locations and on their online store.

Check out more pictures of both the pants and the jacket after the jump!

P.S. Check out my boy Frank modeling the pants and jacket!!! Props homie!

Western Conference

Forwards: Carmelo Anthony (Den) 1,568,259; Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) 826,130; Tim Duncan (SA) 776,225; Pau Gasol (LAL) 754,070; Kevin Durant (OKC) 556,847; Trevor Ariza (Hou) 504,725; Luis Scola (Hou) 437,944; Shawn Marion (Dal) 295,310; Ron Artest (LAL) 266,554; Lamar Odom (LAL) 194,567; LaMarcus Aldridge (Por) 177,663.

Guards: Kobe Bryant (LAL) 1,793,782; Tracy McGrady (Hou) 746,625; Steve Nash (Pho) 744,250; Chris Paul (NO) 701,417; Aaron Brooks (Hou) 443,369; Jason Kidd (Dal) 429,720; Chauncey Billups (Den) 310,281; Deron Williams (Utah) 285,185; Manu Ginobili (SA) 261,107; Brandon Roy (Por) 257,231; Tony Parker (SA) 248,951.

Centers: Amar’e Stoudemire (Pho) 1,304,470; Andrew Bynum (LAL) 743,182; Nene (Den) 261,295; Marc Gasol (Mem) 217,675; Antonio McDyess (SA) 157,346; Al Jefferson (Min) 146,773; Greg Oden (Por) 136,388; Marcus Camby (LAC) 121,981; Andris Biedrins (GS) 102,095; Mehmet Okur (Utah) 96,897; Emeka Okafor (NO) 94,685; Spencer Hawes (Sac) 31,767.

So based on these results, its pretty safe to say that the East will be starting:
Lebron
D-Wade
Kevin Garnett
Allen Iverson
Shaq

While the only players out West that look to be guaranteed a start are:
Kobe
Carmelo
Amar’e Stoudemire

Dirk looks like he should be in there, but Tim Duncan is only about 50,000 votes behind and Pau Gasol about 70,000. A strong surge from either keeps the possibility of an upset open.

As of right now, Tracy McGrady is in a position to start, however, Steve Nash should overtake him by the time voting ends as he only trails McGrady by about 2,000 votes and Chris Paul trails McGrady by about 45,000 votes.

Obviously, the biggest controversy here is the positions of Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady who’s overwhelming fan bases may just get them in there. As of today, Iverson has played just 13 games and McGrrady just 6. This means that a combined 20 games will take 2 starting positions in the league’s most premier event. Now while AI and T-Mac gave the fans many memorable all star memories in the 00s, their spots would be better served to go to other deserving players. And to be fair, I’m all for fan voting, but if both of these players start, moreso McGrady, who probably wouldn’t be able to give more than 10 minutes of action anyway, it makes a mockery of the entire system.

The 2010 NBA All Star Game is Sunday, Feb 14.
