Earlier today at Staples Center, thousands gathered to celebrate the life of the great Michael Jackson in what was a classy and emotional affair. In what was the most touching moment of the entire show, Mike’s daughter, Paris Jackson told the world what a great father she had.

Game responds to Jay-Z’s mention of his name in a freestyle a few days ago.
These 2 have been going back and forth for a while with Jay being more hush hush and Game being more out there. I’m a fan of both artists, but Game should really chill on baiting Jigga.

The last few weeks has seen an unfortunately large number of celebrity passings. July 4th was no exception as news broke that former NFL quarterback was shot and killed.
Update: While police are reluctant to confirm, the speculation is that this was a murder suicide as a young woman who McNair was allegedly romantically involved with was also found dead nearby with a handgun that she had recently purchased.
The 4th Quarter sends out our thoughts and prayers to the entire McNair family and anyone who was affected by this tragedy.

Once again, the Twitter world was shaken up by some NBA news, especially for Lakers and Rockets fans. Two important players basically swapped teams as Trevor Ariza verbally commited to the Houston Rockets and Ron Artest. Being a Lakers fan as well as a high school classmate of Trevor Ariza (Westchester stand up!!) I’m sad to see him and his relentless effort go elsewhere, however, with Ron Artest coming to join this already dangerous team it’s hard to stay to sad for too long.
With The Spurs, Magic, and Cavs making moves and Boston close to making a big addition, the Lakers have made their mark on the offseason. Next priority: resign Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown.
Can the season start already?!!!
