So over the weekend I checked my twitter and was greeted by the most exciting news that I had read in a while. Just 7 years after its last appearance, the NBA All Star Game will be returning to Los Angeles in 2011. That weekend Los Angeles will be the center of the basketball universe as well as the groupie capital of the world.
Just a few months ago, Just10 and I were fortunate enough to make the trip to Phoenix (just 2 years after going to All Star Weekend in Vegas) where we attended pretty much every All Star event you could think of including the main event. Next year the event is in Dallas, then back home in Cali. Look forward to 2011 being one of the most exciting All Star Weekends in recent memory both on and off the court.
Not long after his performance at Hot 97′s SummerJam, Hov sat down with Angie Martinez to discuss a variety of topics. This was a pretty entertaining interview, so if youve got 20 or so mins on your hands, check it out.
This segment was shown during halftime of game 2 of the NBA Finals and it explains the little known story of a tragic situation in the early life of Lakers forward Trevor Ariza. I had read about the situation previously, but had never heard Trevor speak on it personally.
If anyone is wondering the relevance this story has to this site, aside from the creators of this site being Lakers fans, we also attended high school with Trevor Ariza (Westchester) and will continue to show support towards those that have arisen from the same place as us.

Wow! I just caught this other new music video from Wale. The DMV rapper has taken different route than the last video I posted. Directed by Rik Cordero, the video touches on some real life situations that many families in this world are facing. Please watch!
Okay so we are a little bit late on this but you know us… We come through in the clutch! So this is the official street single for Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album. The song is produced by No ID and Kanye West. The official 1st single, “Off That” will drop in July and feature the hottest new artist, Drake.
Shout out to MyCypher for coming up with the footage from this event. We were in the building but had to make an early exit due to minor problems Literally.
