So I’m scheduled to be off Friday night but I was thinking about going into work…. On second thought, I think this might be a better option. In celebration for the release of the Undefeated x Converse Poorman Weapons, Undefeated decided to have a little party at their Silverlake location. Like always, there will be lots of Belevedere flowing in the place and plenty of beautiful women and fresh sneakers everywhere. Make sure you are there!

So unless you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t been watching the NBA Playoffs, you already know that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin aren’t the best of friends right now, all stemming from Cuban telling Martin’s mother that her son was a thug. The TV camera’s picked up this exchange shortly following game 5.
Below is a statement sent from the Louis Vuitton offices to the editor of XXL.
Dear Editor:
We were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks. Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points.
The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to correct the confusion.
Sincerely,
Michael D. Pantalony, Esq.
