Because I did not see the movie nor did I see the 81st Annual Academy Awards I can not speak too much on either. But I have heard that this movie was really really good so I am guessing it is deserving of 8 total Oscars.
Also, I am very happy that the Oscar for best supporting actor went to Heath Ledger for his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight! Truly an amazing performance! R.I.P.
Allstar LeBron James sits down with Magic Johnson to discuss Kobe Bryant, averaging a triple double, LeBron’s actual height and weight, and what he does with his free time!
Lakers vs Timberwolves – Congratulations to Kobe Bryant for passing Elgin Baylor to become the 20th scorer in NBA history (3rd highest in Laker history)!
Heat vs Magic- Looks like D-Wade still needs some help! Drops 50 but loses by 20!
Not sure who Kobe is, but it’s not #24. And with all these Detox tracks leaking the project will never see the light of day. Smh. Let’s hope otherwise.
Pictures from last nights Kaws exhibit here in Los Angeles! The opening night was crazy packed. Sadly I did not make it but I will definitely check it out before April. Check out TheHundreds Blog for some good pics from Bobby himself. I’m going to sleep now!
While I sat and watched this game, I could not figure out how Oklahoma’s Blake Griffin received a concussion. Regardless, Griffin, a National Player of the Year candidate played only 11 minutes in the first half and sat out the entire second. This changed the entire makeup of the game and allowed the Texas Longhorns to gain an early lead. In the second half, Oklahoma freshman guard Willie Warren began to heat up, making several shots to put the Sooners in the lead. But Texas guard A.J. Abrams went on a tear dropping 18 of the Longhorns last 20 points. Warren was the high points man in the game with 27 but Abrams’ 23 points led Texas to a much needed win, 73-68. There are no reports on Blake Griffin and his condition as of now but let’s hope that this is not a major injury and he returns “sooner” than later!
The Maryland Terrapins shocked the country with a surprising overtime victory over the third ranked North Carolina Tarheels Saturday night. Point guard Greivis Vasquez led the upset with a rare triple double scoring 35 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists. Vasquez’ triple double was the first by a Terrapin player in 22 years. He started off red hot by scoring the Terrapins first 16 points of the game and led the team back from a 16 point deficit in the second half to force overtime. In overtime, Vasquez hit a big 3 point basket and drained two clutch free throws with 5.4 seconds remaining to put his team up three. He was definitely “4th Quarter Clutch” in this game! The big win over the Tarheels may have pushed Maryland slightly closer to a NCAA tournament bid. Terrapins record is a decent 17-9 (6-6 in conference play) with big wins against UNC and Michigan State but key losses include Morgan State and a 41 point blowout by Duke. It appears March Madness has began a little early!
