What’s Going on with Chris Brown & Rihanna? Brown Arrested on Assault?

I’m going to leave it to the gossip site to post the entire story about this but I thought it was really shocking when the story first came out early Sunday afternoon. Supposedly Chris Brown had an altercation with a female friend whose name has not been revealed. Reports say that Brown and the female were driving and began arguing which eventually led to Chris Brown assaulting the person. Brown left the scene of the incident before police could arrive and investigate the situation. Neither Chris Brown or Rihanna appeared or performed as they were scheduled to do at Sunday’s Grammy Awards show. There is also reports that Brown turned himself in to authorities Sunday evening and posted a $50,000 bail. Most rumors are suggesting that Rihanna is the female friend that Chris Brown assaulted and she is in the hospital with a black eye. Other rumors that I have read say that the two may have been involved in a car accident (it is raining in LA right now!) or that the female friend was actually some girl trying to holler at Chris in front of Rihanna! I don’t know what to believe but I do hope everything is okay with the two of them. They’re both very young and talented and I wish them the best.

it sounds like, leading up to the Grammys, there was growing tension between Chris Brown and Rihanna that led to this happening; still no excuse
