Pepsi Proper Los Angeles Pop-Up Shop & Performance

On Saturday, Pepsi will be setting up a retail shop here in LA for all our holiday shopping needs! The store will feature great items from companies such as Union Los Angeles, Hypebeast, House of Cassette, Clae, Craftworks, Evil Monito, Jungle Girl, Sneaktip and S.L.A.T.E Trade Show. During the course of the event, various DJ acts will also be on hand such as DJ Fashen, DJ Peter Lee, DJ DJ Byze One and DJ Sour Milk (all from 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm) while DJ Mike B and DJ Reflex will be on the tables from 9:00 pm – 12:00 am. The finishing touch will be performances by Pac Division and The Clipse! What a nice present from Pepsi. Too bad I won’t be there. I hate my job…

The Hundreds x Disney Lost Boys Collection

The Hundreds just posted pictures of their newest collaboration releasing tomorrow! Like I said on Tuesday, The Hundreds have hooked up with Disney to release a Lost Boys (Peter Pan!) collection consisting of six shirts, one womens shirt, and two hats!
“Our take on Disney’s classic Lost Boys was to re-imagine the characters as not only modernized for present-day, but The Hundreds-ized to fall within all of the various subcultures that define California youth lifestyle. The challenge was getting that past some of the more originalist higher-ups at Disney who weren’t exactly fond of updating the historical Peter Pan franchise (crust-punk Tootles in Doc Martens?). But after a year of negotiations, sketches, and re-sketches from the Disney character artists themselves, The Hundreds x Disney has finally landed. Each of the Lost Boys gets their own t-shirt, offered in their own unique colorway and our familiar black. There are only 200 of each character, in each colorway, produced worldwide.”
THE HUNDREDS x DISNEY drops this Thursday, December 11th, 2008 at The Hundreds Los Angeles and The Hundreds San Francisco, along with the following select TH retailers across the States.
