The 51st Annual Grammy Nominations Announced

Yesterday, the nominations for the 51st annual Grammy Awards were announced and it was nothing too shocking! As I would expect, Lil’ Wayne received a large amount of the hip hop nominations with 8 total. It will definitely be interesting to see who wins record of the year with such songs as “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay, “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis, “Paper Planes” by M.I.A., and “Chasing Pavements” by British newcomer Adele. All the song were big hits during the spring and summer months of this year. Album of the year will also be good to watch with Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III going up against Coldplay’s Viva La Vida and Ne-Yo’s Year Of The Gentleman. I’m willing to bet that none of those artist win and Radiohead or Robert Plant & Allison Kraus win.
