The “Times Square of the West” is set to open tonight with the debut of a nightly light show called “Lights of the Angels”. Comedian Adam Carolla will play host to the event while Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, USC football head coach Pete Carroll and a special celebrity guest Britney Spears will also be in attendance!

Let us all say a prayer for former Sixth Man of the Year award winner, Rodney Rogers! He was injured in an all terrain vehicle accident. According to his former college coach, Rogers is paralyzed from the shoulders down!

Imeem is enlightening folks on Inglewood group U-N-I. The group explain their beginnings and lives living in the City of Champions (My Hometown)! They filmed some of the video down the street from my house at Westchester park. I’ve been meaning to go play some basketball! hahaha
