Always Someone Hatin’! Ludacris Blasted For Song About Obama!

It appears that some people are a little upset about Luda’s new song, “Politics (Obama is Back)”! On the song, Luda backs Obama while saying some pretty funny things about Senator John McCain! He also calls Hilary Clinton a bitch! Many people were upset by this and even lead Obama spokesperson Bill Burton to say Ludacris should be ashamed!
I think the has a right to his own opinion and he has a right to voice it! No one can say whether he is right or wrong because it is just an opinion. I rarely take Ludacris serious about things anyway and it seems that he was only joking. I guess when you make statements as bold as those, then you are bound to have some criticism!

WTF! The Yankees Steal Pudge Rodriguez!

Amazing! The New York Yankees just keep on picking up more great players from various teams! First they got Richie Sexson from the Mariners, then Xavier Nady from the Pirates, and now Ivan Rodriguez from the Detroit Tigers! The Yankees send the Tigers righty pitcher Kyle Farnsworth in exchange for the 14 time all star. The trade comes in an effort to fill the void at the catcher position after Jorge Posada decided to have season-ending shoulder surgery. From the outside looking in, it appears Pudge can fill several voids. Although he is in his 18th season, the veteran provide some leadership for the young pitchers at the mound, enhance their overall defense, and add another great bat into the lineup! The stretch for the Yankees and the American League is going to be very interesting!
Does this put the Yankees in great position to make the playoffs and go far? Who will win the AL Wild Card? AL East? Post your comment!

Anaheim Angels Pick Up Mark Teixeira Before Trade Deadline!

Hope you are an Angels fan because they just got even better after acquiring Mark Teixeira from the Atlanta Braves! They received the left handed slugging first baseman for Casey Kotchman and a minor league pitcher. With the Angels sitting number one in the American League already, and beating the defending champ Boston Red Sox seven out of eight times this season, does this make them the team to beat now?? Does this almost automatically put the Angels in the championship?? I would like to think so! lol

FDL New Era Cap! Boston Blades!

So what the Celtics won! So what the Lakers lost by 39 points!! And so what I cry everytime I see the colors Black and Green!!! The point is Frank 151 just released a new cap from their Frank’s Distro League series of New Eras!
The Blades hat features the Boston Celtics colorway of course, utilizing a familiar Bostonian font for the “Blades” embroidery across the front two panels, “Boston” block lettering on the back with a lucky four leaf clover in white just above. We also added the extra detailing of black on black clovers in place of the vent holes on each panel.
These joints are available in limited quantities at Frank’s Chop Shop or Frank151.com and also select Boston shops but why would anyone want to go there! TEAR

Ron Artest To The Lakers??? Nope! The Rockets!

So everybody and dey mama (I know! lol) thought Ron Artest was coming to La La Land to play with the Zen Master and Kobe/24/7 or atleast going back to his hometown of New York! Buuuuut the Rockets had other plans! Houston scooped up the sometimes-confusing-yet-brilliantly-talented player for what looks to be a steal. The Sacramento Kings received first round pick, Donte Greene, former King Bobby Jackson and a 2009 first round pick. Supposedly Artest is very happy with the trade because not only will he be reunited with his former coach, Rick Aldeman, he will also team up with T-Mac and Yao to create a problem. By problem, I mean all the troubles the trio will give the rest of the western conference! Can’t Wait! (to see the Lakers win! lol)

Ex-NBA Ref Gets 15 Months in Jail For Gambling!

Yesterday, former NBA referee Tim Donaghy received 15 months for being involved in a gambling scandal that sent the sports world into an uproar! In addition to the 15 months, Donaghy received three years supervised release which is a far cry from the possible 33 months of prison time he was facing or the 25 years of prison when first indicted. Since being investigated July 2007, Tim Donaghy has really put the NBA in a spin, making claims that many games are fixed for gambling purposes and even Game 6 of the Lakers-Kings 2002 playoff series was affected by refs (Lakers won fair and square! lol)!!! He even shocked the world claiming that the recent Lakers Celtics championship series was tampered with for tv and ticket sales! Whether this is true or not, the NBA has a lot of work to do in repairing their ref! Opps I mean Rep!! (Same thing!)
What do you thing Commissioner David Stern will do repair their reputation and their referees??
