Steve McNair Calls it Quits after 13 seasons!

     After a season in which he played only six games, had two touchdowns, four interceptions, and seven fumbles, Steve McNair has decided to hang up the cleats and retire. An 07 season that included a groin injury in the beginning of the season and surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, McNair explained he is physically unable to perform his job at a high level. Before last season, McNair led the Baltimore Ravens to a franchise best 13-3 record in his first season with the team. Other highlights in his possible Hall of Fame career include 3 Pro Bowl selections, 2003 All-Pro selection, 2003 co-MVP, and a trip to the Super Bowl in 1999. All but one Pro-Bowl selection were achieved with the Tennessee Titans! With a 82.8 QB rating, the 35 year old McNair’s stats include 31,304 passing yards and 3590 rushing yard; only the 3rd QB in NFL history to pass for 30,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards.
